A delicate, slender sedge.
The plant produces deep brown tubers with aromatic odor.
Uses - Cypriol has a long
history, particularly in India where the oil was used to scent clothing
and for use as medicine against digestive problems.
Color: Dark Amber to
Light Brown
Common Uses: Cypriol is often used
in compounding perfumes, in the manufacturing of soaps, medicine and
incense sticks. It is also used as an insect repellent.
Consistency: Viscous
Note: Middle
Strength of Aroma: Cypriol has a spicy, earthy, wood - like
scent.
Blends well with: Bergamot; Clary Sage; Labdanum; Patchouli
Aromatic Scent: Cypriol has a surprisingly vibrant scent that is
very similar in tone to oils from the Cedarwood family.
